Churchyard Records

The graveyard at St Mary's is now closed (closed during the 1980s) and all of the paper burial records for the Parish are now kept at:

During the early 1980s, The East of London Family History Society completed a survey of the graveyard and recorded all of the details that were visible on the gravestones at that time. This list was then painstakingly transcribed by Kathleen Partington of Leyton and Leytonstone Historical Society. A copy of the spreadsheet compiled is available here.

Lent 2025

Lent begins on Wednesday 5th March 2025 with special Ash Wednesday services in our churches to which you are most welcome.
