Parish Birthdays – Happy Birthday to anyone celebrating their birthday this week.

Today, 22nd March, has been designated by the Archbishops of Canterbury and York as a Day of Prayer and Action for those affected by Coronavirus.  Please put a candle (LED fine of course!) in a window where it is visible at 7pm this evening as a gesture of solidarity and hope for all affected by the virus in whatever way, and all working to mitigate its effects, in whatever way.

Public Worship Suspended: As you are probably aware, all public worship is suspended for the foreseeable future. We have been asked to keep Church buildings open for personal prayer, possibly in small groups at a safe distance from one another. We will update the website and social media as things unfold.

There is a booklet for Worship at Home, containing simple services of Morning Prayer and Compline. Please take one or take several to use at home. There are also prayers to use in this time of crisis – again take as many as you wish.

Happy to Help leaflets – these are also available for you to take home if you are able to offer help to one or more neighbours – but please, help if you safely can and remember that offering to pray is also helpful!

If you have an queries or need help, e.g., shopping or picking up a prescription, or you are aware of someone who needs help, please call the parish office number – 02084700011 or email on This email address is being protected from spambots.
