Parish Birthdays – Happy Birthday to Crystal Balogun

St Mary’s Congratulations to Ecem and Simon who got married yesterday.

June and Quintin visited Norman this week. He was in good spirits and may even be sitting up in a chair this week.

The new Rotas have been printed and are at the back of church. Please pick one up after the service.

Winter Market at St Mary’s The St Mary’s Winter Market was well attended and raised £645. Thank you to all who helped and supported this community event.

Grand Christmas Raffle at St Mary’s – tickets are on sale now!

1st prize £50 M&S voucher – donations of further prizes would be welcome.

The Church of South India invites you to a Christmas Carol Recital ‘He Shall Reign Forevermore!’ Today, Sunday 8 December 3.30pm at St Bart’s Church. All are welcome.

Deanery Congress tomorrow, Monday 9 December at 7.30pm at All Saints, West Ham with Bishop Peter. The Bishop would like all church wardens and parish treasurers to attend and there is strong encouragement for as many people as possible to be there.

Rectory Christmas Party Friday 13 December at 7.30pm in the Rectory. All welcome.

Cleaning and decorating St Mary’s Come along next Saturday 14 December 10am -1pm and help clean, decorate and prepare the church for Christmas! Tea, coffee, mulled wine and mince pies is the bribe and reward for your labors. All are welcome.

Christmas Carols What are they? Where did they come from? Where are they Going? An illustrated talk by Philip Norman at St Bart’s Saturday 14 December 3pm followed by refreshments. Free.

A celebration of Christmas at St. Edmund's on Sunday

15 December at 10.00am, Eucharist, carols, mince pies and mulled wine, all are welcome.

Carol Services at the City of London Cemetery. Sunday

15 December. 1pm and 2.45pm. Everyone is welcome.

Carols at Manor Farm please join Fred and Shirley who will be ‘trying’ to entertain the residents of Manor Farm on Christmas Eve at 3pm with some Carol singing. Your support would be welcome.

Christmas cards at Bart’s there is a board at the back of Church for Christmas cards – please consider placing just one card on the board and making a donation to charity this year.
