In the Diocese: The Deanery of Dunmow & Stansted Area Dean: Cilla Hawkes. Pray for the Chaplaincy at London Stansted Airport and all who work there.

In the Anglican Communion: The Dioceses of Seoul (Korea) and Eastern Newfoundland and Labrador (Canada)

With Christian Aid: Give thanks for the awareness-raising work of World Aids Day and pray that it continues to unite people worldwide in the fight against HIV.

In the world: Those whose work is unfulfilling, stressful or fraught with danger.

Winter Market at St Mary’s thanks to all who have helped make this a successful event. There are a few stalls in the Church hall this morning for anyone who missed out.

St Mary’s Today we welcome Evangeline and her family for her baptism. Please keep them all in your prayers at this special time.

Advent Carol Singing with E.6 Churches TODAY - Meet 4pm at East Ham tube station. We will be singing Carols at various points down the High Street ending in the Denmark Arms at around 4.45pm. Please come in your best voice.

Writer’s/Diary in St Bart’s Church we are hosting an art installation by Alison Marchant. It is a wall of redacted pages from Virginia Woolf’s diary so that all that is visible are the words connected with the process of writing itself – runs until 3 Dec.

The Church of South India invites you to a Christmas Carol Recital ‘He Shall Reign Forevermore!’ Sunday 8 December 3.30pm at St Bart’s Church. All are welcome.

Deanery Congress on Monday 9 December at 7.30pm at All Saints, West Ham with Bishop Peter. The Bishop would like all church wardens and parish treasurers to attend and there is strong encouragement for as many people as possible to be there.

Date for Diary: We will be cleaning and decorating St Mary’s in preparation for Christmas on Saturday 14 December between 10am & 1pm. All are welcome. Mince pies & mulled wine will be enjoyed !

Christmas Carols What are they ? Where did they come from? Where are they Going ? An illustrated talk by Philip Norman at St Bart’s Saturday 14 December 3pm followed by refreshments. Free.

A celebration of Christmas at St. Edmund's on Sunday December 15th at 10.00am, Eucharist, carols, mince pies and mulled wine, all are welcome.

Christmas cards at Bart’s there is a board at the back of Church for Christmas cards – please consider placing just one card on the board and making a donation to charity this year.
