Kaz Januszewski is now back home and gaining strength day by day. Brenda, Kaz and Stefan wish to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers over the last few months.

Open Prayers We will be holding a short period of open prayers after the service today Sunday 24 November at St Bart’s. All are welcome. But if you cannot be there and have a prayer request please let Shirley or Molara know.

St Mary’s Today we welcome Evangeline and her family who are preparing for her baptism next Sunday 1 December. Please keep them in your prayers at this special time.

Writer’s/Diary in St Bart’s Church we are hosting an art installation by Alison Marchant. It is a wall of redacted pages from Virginia Woolf’s diary so that all that is visible are the words connected with the process of writing itself. Official opening

St Mary’s Winter Market next Saturday 30 November 11am to 3pm at St Mary’s Hall. Craft stall, home baked cakes, preserves, refreshments, raffles & much more! Please see enclosed leaflet.

Advent Carol Singing with E.6 Churches. Next Sunday 1 Dec. Meet 4pm at East Ham tube station. We will be singing Carols at various points down the High Street ending in the Denmark Arms at around 4.45pm. Please come in your best voice.

CSI Carol Service The Church of South India invites you to a Christmas Carol Recital ‘He Shall Reign Forevermore!’ Sunday 8 December 3.30pm at St Bart’s Church. All are welcome.

Deanery Congress on Monday 9 December at 7.30pm at All Saints, West Ham with Bishop Peter. The Bishop would like all church wardens and parish treasurers to attend and there is strong encouragement for as many people as possible to be there.

Date for Diary: We will be cleaning and decorating St Mary’s in preparation for Christmas on Saturday 14 December between 10am & 1pm. All are welcome to help. Mince pies & mulled wine will be enjoyed!
