St Mary’s the flowers in St Mary’s today are from Tony in loving memory of his wife Sandra Kathleen Gillard.
Autumn Notes Concert this year’s concert raised a marvelous £230 in aid of NEWway Night Shelter. There was also a further £90 donated for Harvest which will be added to this making a grand total of £320 being donated. A great big thank you to all who organized, performed and attended this concert.
Commemoration of the Dead Next Sunday will be our annual All Souls service at St Mary’s at 6pm. If you would like us to remember someone by name, please write their names clearly on the sheets at the back of Church. If you ask for someone to be remembered please take responsibility for attending the service.
East End Women’s Museum Workshop the museum will be holding at workshop at St Bart’s on Thursday 31st October at 1pm including creative writing dream visit, collage and mapping activities. All are welcome.
Bible Study We are holding our next BIBLE STUDY tomorrow at 11.30am. Please invite others you know, all are welcome. They don’t have to be Parish Members or even Church goers. The more we have, the more regularly we can hold meetings.
Concert of music composted by and in memory of Francis Bassett the concert will be on Saturday 9 November at 7.30pm at St Barnabas Church, Browning Rd, E12 6PB. Entrance free, donations, which will go to charities supported by Francis, are invited.
Deanery Congress on Monday 9 December at 7.30pm at All Saints, west Ham with Bishop Peter, Archdeacon Elwin and Jeremy Frasier (Bishop’s Advisor for Mission). The Bishop would like all church wardens and parish treasurers to attend and there is strong encouragement for as many people as possible to be there. Please save the date.
