Marco our new curate, started this week (as a licensed lay minister) He will be deaconed on 14th September and his first service in the Parish will be a Joint Parish Eucharist at St Bart’s on 15th September.  We’ll greet him formally in today’s service and over the summer he has been asked as part of his training to have a number of 1-to-1 conversations with people.  He will be in touch with some of you over the next couple of weeks.

Thank you to all who helped with the confirmation service at Bart’s last week, it was wonderful to see 22 candidates from across the Deanery affirming their faith.  The three from this Parish will have their confirmation bibles presented today.  The collection from the service at Bishop Peter’s request will go to the charity 5Talents which specializes in providing micro finance and business training to rural East African entrepreneurs.
