National Pilgrimage at Walsingham Monday 27th May A reminder that the two pick-up points for the coach are at Newham College, High Street South at 7.30am and St Edmund’s Katherine Road at 7.45am.  We leave Walsingham at 5pm to arrive back at around 6.30-7pm.

Bible Study our next bible study group will be on Wednesday 29th May at St Bart’s at 2pm

Thursday 30th May is Ascension Day.  Eucharist for the eve of Ascension on Wednesday 29th May at 6.30pm at St Mary Magdalene and Eucharist of Ascension Day at 12.15 at St Bart’s. All are welcome.

Ascension to Pentecost Thy Kingdom Come novena of prayer for the Church. Please take the enclosed leaflet and use the simple form of night prayer if you wish and pray in particular the intentions for the mission of this Parish you’ll find inside.

Jack Cornwell Service will be held at St Mary’s next Sunday 2nd June at 12 noon – all are welcome.

Intercessory Prayer group will meet after the service on Sunday 9th June in the Lady Chapel at St Bart’s.  All are welcome.

Parish Tea Dance

A reminder to buy your tickets for the Parish Tea Dance Saturday 15th June 3-5pm at St Mary’s in memory of Gillian Mayer. All proceeds to Christian Aid. Tickets are available from Shirley (St Bart’s) Ed (St Ed’s) and Claudette (St Mary’s) or the Parish Office.

Sunday 16th June Trinity Sunday.  Titular feast of the Parish, Joint Parish Eucharist at St Mary Magdalene, preacher Nicola Vidamour. This is probably going to be Nicola’s last preaching gig with our Parish before her move. 

Thursday 20th June Corpus Christi.  Mass, benediction and procession of the blessed sacrament in the Rectory Garden at 7pm followed by a barbeque.  All welcome.

A date for your diary the Parish Outing this year will be to Southend-on-Sea on Saturday 22nd June.  Cost will be £15 per person.  Please see the sign-up sheets at the back of Church.  More details to follow shortly.
