Café News On Tuesday in the café this week @ 1.30pm will be a new activity – Card Making ! Please come along and have a go - All are welcome.
East Ham Safer Neighbourhood Team and Newham Law Enforcement meeting at St Bart’s on 3rd April at 11.15-12.45. This is your opportunity to discuss issues such as anti-social behaviour, crime and safety. To give a rough idea of numbers, please let the office, café or Shirley Biro know if you’ll be attending. All are welcome.
‘Pray Your Way During Lent’- continues at St. Bart’s East Ham every Tuesday to 9 April at 7.30pm. All welcome.
Bible Study Our next bible study will be on Monday 29 April at Bart’s at 2pm.
Hope 4 Newham are appealing for Easter Eggs to give to the homeless. Their aim is to collect 110 eggs (this is how many hot portions of food they’re serving of an evening). If you wish to donate an egg, there is a drop off point in the café.
Lent 2019 The lent course this year is on Mission. Next session 27 March 2pm at Pilgrims Way and 7pm at St Mary’s – Jesus’ Galilean Mission. Please note that during Lent St Bart’s Thursday Eucharist will be at 12.15 with silent prayer from 12 noon for those who desire it. We will also be running preparation for first communion at St Mary’s – speak to John King – and confirmation preparation at St Bart’s – speak to Rev Sue.
Away Day we are planning the first of a number of Parish Away Days to reflect on priorities in mission for this parish on Saturday 30 March 2019 at 10am to 1pm at the House of the Divine Compassion, 42 Balaam Street, E13 8AQ. Please let the Parish Office know if you are attending. Please bring a packed lunch, drinks will be provided.

Once again, we will be organizing a coach to go along to the National Pilgrimage at Walsingham on Monday 27th May.
Tea Dance to raise funds for Christian Aid on Saturday 15th June 3-5pm in the hall at St Mary’s – more details to follow.
