In the world: for all victims of abuse and violence, intolerance and prejudice.

With Christian Aid: On this week that begins with transfiguration, look at a place on a map or news report, relating to an issue you’re particularly drawn to praying for.

In the Parish: those who live in Wakefield Street, Walpole Road, Washington Road.

From next Sunday, those who have asked our prayers will be divided into those in “immediate need” and those in “continuing need”.  Those in immediate need will stay on the prayer list for four weeks initially.  Shirley Biro is monitoring both lists and will ensure they are up to date. If you’re leading intercessions just a reminder that you don’t need to read all of the names, “those named on the newsletter” is sufficient, the names are here for your private prayers.

Those who have died: Elizabeth Dorothy Howell and Anita Skerritt may they rest in peace and rise in glory
