In the Diocese: Pray for the ministry of all those who work with young people and especially the Diocesan Area Youth Advisers.
In the Anglican Communion: The Church of Ceylon.
In the world: for the U.S. midterm elections for all those speaking up for the common good. Also for the aftermath of the shooting in the Synagogue in Pittsburgh. Praying for those who have lost lives or loved ones.
With Christian Aid: Pray for all those in Sierra Leone who are remembering the loss of a loved one on 7 November, the second anniversary of the Ebola outbreak’s end. Give thanks for ministers like Rev Christiana who played a pivotal role in her community during the epidemic. Pray for the ongoing work in preventing the return of the disease.
In the Parish: those who live in Ratcliff Rd, Redcliff Rd, Rochfors Close.

St Mary’s We welcome Darcey and Caelen for baptism this morning. It’s good to have their family supporting them in such numbers and some of the hymns for today have been chosen by the family.
Commemoration of the departed a reminder to everyone that the
All Soul’s Service takes place at 6pm this evening at St Mary’s.
St Mary’s Calendar 2019 We will be putting together a calendar at
St Mary’s for 2019. If anyone would like to have a photograph of St Mary’s
Next Sunday is Remembrance Sunday.
It’s a particularly important occasion as it’s the hundredth anniversary of the ending of the First World War.
St Mary’s Service will be a slightly shortened Eucharist so we can congregate around the War Memorial for 11 0’clock.
St Bart’s will begin at 9.15am so we can all go to the Cenotaph for 11am (Procession starts at 10.15am)
St Edmund’s will also have an early start. Time to be confirmed.
St Edmund’s Patronal Feast is Sunday 18 November. This will be a Joint Parish Eucharist held at St Edmund’s.
Café News – this week Tuesday’s event at Bart’s Café is a film afternoon. “The Book Club” starring Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda & Candice Bergen. Come & join us. Screening will commence at 1.30pm. All are welcome.
Intercessory Prayer Group meets on Sunday 25 November at St Bart’s after the 10am service. All are welcome.
Bible Study the next bible study at St Bart’s will be on Wednesday14 November at 1.30pm
Faith in Schools is also running a Volunteer & Assembly training in their Stratford Shopping Centre offices on 5 November @ 9.15am to 12pm.
On the Way new course starting in January 2019 on Tues evenings 7.30- 9pm at St John’s Stratford. If you’d like to join, please speak to Rev Sue.
