St Mary’s We will welcome some school groups into St Mary’s this week.

Today will be a slightly shortened service so that we can gather around the war memorial for 11am.

Ann Easter Last Sunday, it was announced in the parishes of St Martin’s, and St Paul’s Stratford that Jeanette Meadway will take over pastoral care of St Martin’s from the 1st February. She will become vicar once the legal preliminaries are completed in due course.  Jeanette will be self-supporting and will continue to live in her own home.  Ann will return to this parish from the beginning of February.  Ann’s leaving ‘do’ at St Martin’s will be after their Sunday Mass at 11am on 27th January.  Please pray for both Jeanette and Ann at this time of change.

St Edmund’s Patronal Feast is Next Sunday 18 November. This will be a Joint Parish Eucharist held at St Edmund’s.

Café News – this week Tuesday’s event at Bart’s Café is Stitch with Chris @ 1.30pm & Thursday is Chair based exercise @ 1.15pm a fun, instructor led session which is suitable for all ages and abilities - £2.50.  All are welcome.

Bible Study the next bible study at St Bart’s will be on Wednesday

14 November at 1.30pm

Intercessory Prayer Group meets on Sunday 25 November at St Bart’s after the 10am service.  All are welcome.

Christmas Journey Faith in Schools is again running Christmas Journey at St George’s, East Ham 17/18 December & needs volunteers to make drinks, guide the children, welcome people & lead in song. Faith in Schools is also running a Volunteer & Assembly training in their Stratford Shopping Centre offices on 5 November @ 9.15am to 12pm.

On the Way new course starting in January 2019 on Tues evenings 7.30- 9pm at St John’s Stratford.  If you’d like to join, please speak to Rev Sue.

PCC and DCC DATES.

St Mary’s extraordinary DCC. There will be a brief meeting today after the service over tea and coffee.

St Mary’s DCC is 16 January 2019 at 7.30 pm in the Parish Room.

St Bart’s DCC is 13 January 2019 at 11.45 in the Luke Room

St Edmund’s DCC is 23 January 2019 at 7.30pm

Next PCC meeting is this week, 14 November 2018 at St Edmund’s
