Parish Birthdays – Happy Birthday to Jack Bence and Jean McCluskey

A message from your new Deacon - Saying 'thank you' seems so inadequate for all the love, support and prayers you have freely given me over the past years. Your presence on Saturday evening at Chelmsford Cathedral for my Ordination and then on Sunday morning at St Mary's followed by the 'party' is something that will stay part of my family's history for generations to come. The generous gifts and cards were awesome; it seemed to me as if Christmas had come early! I pray and give thanks to God for your kindness. Revd John

Big thank you to John for his gifts to the three churches. Also to everyone who made Sunday such a special day providing entertainment and nourishment for all – Quintin.

Open House thanks to all who helped out on Saturday at our Open House.  It was made difficult with the scaffolding, could I thaink those who gave tours and June & crew for their help with the refreshments in the church hall.

St Bart’s It’s September, so it’s nearly Christmas.  Last year at Barts we had a ‘from all of us to all of us’ Christmas card wall rather than sending lots of cards, and everyone who used it gave a donation to charity.  Last year we ‘twinned our toilets’ - if you would like to suggest a charity to support this year, please contact the parish office.
