The sick and suffering: Alice Singh, Les Rowe, Clarice, Paula Gray, Paul Gray, Alec Creggan, Eileen Exley, Fiona McGuiness, Jan Hibbard, Clarence Lawrence, Coraline Edwards, Mark Dorrington, Norman Lipman, Jim Harmati, Theresa Lutterodt, Julie Alade and Hazel Maidment.

Please keep Paul Gray in your prayers at this time as he is particularly unwell. Susan Allen who is currently in the Royal London hospital and would welcome visitors (Ward 8C). Mark, Margaret Wallace’s husband, who’s ill in hospital.

Parish Birthdays – Happy Birthday to Jean McCluskey & Dennis (DJ)

St Mary’s Quintin visited Marion Foot, a longtime member of St Mary’s, to give sick communion.  Marion sends her regards to all at St Mary’s.

Quiet Day Thanks to all who attended yesterday and enjoyed the day.

Congratulations to Prim and Terry as they celebrate 58 years of marriage today.  There will be a short blessing during this mornings service.

Baptism  Please pray for Ewan Peckover and his family as he prepares for baptism next week.

Parish Bible Study will be at St Bart’s at 4pm TODAY.  All are welcome to attend – please bring your bible.

Sunday 1st October is Michaelmas we are keeping this as ‘Bring a Friend’ Sunday. Please think and pray about someone you could invite to church. Invitations and prayer cards available.

St Bart’s on 1st October we are also honoring Les Rowe’s 53 years of ministry among us at. Archdeacon Elwin Cockett will make a presentation and speech.

Autumn Notes  An evening of solos, quartets, poems and more!

14th October from 3.15pm to 5.30pm at St Bart’s.  Adults £5, Children £2, under 12 free.  All proceeds towards Christian Aid.

All Souls Service will be on 29th October 2017 this year at St Mary’s.

St Bart’s Café Dates:

Quiz night 26th September – tickets from Café or Parish Office.  £7.50 per person includes a two course supper.

Cake sale 4th October from 11 am in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

All welcome.

Me and My Music with Elwin Cockett our Archdeacon – 12 October in the Café at 7.30 pm.  Tickets £7.50 from the Café or Parish Office includes a two course supper.

St Barts Training for lesson readers, intercessors, altar servers has been arranged - so save the dates.  If you are already involved in one of these or would like to start, please come along.  Speak to Rev Sue for details.  All on Sundays from 11.15 to 12 noon; 15th October, 7th January, 14th January.
