Please keep Paul Gray in your prayers at this time as he is particularly unwell with cancer.

Parish Quiet Day 23rd September at Haggerston Priory.  If you wish to attend, please see sign-up sheets at the back of Church. If you’re able to give someone a lift, please indicate this on the list too.

Sunday 3rd September is St Bart’s Patronal Feast.  Joint service at St Bart’s at 10 a.m. Preacher is Brother Julian SSF.  Refreshments afterwards. All welcome.

Sunday 10th September St Bart’s Sunday service at the normal time of 10 a.m. St Edmund’s at 9.30 a.m. St Edmunds will return to the normal time of 10 a.m. on 17th September.

Study Day Urban Matthew 21st September 2017. Reading Matthew’s Gospel in the urban context. Cost £7.50 including lunch. Please book in the café or the office.

Autumn Notes

An evening of solos, quartets, poems and more ! 14th October from 3.15pm to 5.30pm at St Bart’s.  Adults £5, Children £2, under 12 free.  All proceeds towards Christian Aid.  Tickets from Alison (St Mary’s), Philip (St Bart’s) or Ed (St Edmunds).

Barking Area Church Wardens, Deputy Wardens for Newham Deanery Support and Fellowship Saturday 21st October 10 am – 3.30pm St John’s Church Stratford E15 1NG  The day course will be suitable for PCC members & Parish officers too. St Mary’s DCC meeting is 6 September at 7.30 pm in the Parish room

St Bart’s DCC meeting is 17 September at 11.45 am in the Luke Room.

St Edmunds’s DCC is on 27th September at 7.30 pm.

MIDWEEK EUCHARISTS    There are no midweek Eucharists in August.  Resume Wednesday 6 September 10.00am at St Edmund’s, Wednesday 6.30pm at St Mary’s, Thursday 7th September 12.30pm at St Bart’s
