Quintin, Ann and Sue are all at the Diocesan Clergy Conference on Wednesday and Sue is also there on Tuesday and Thursday. Fr Fred is around. If you need a member of the clergy urgently, contact the parish office who will contact one of us.

St Mary Magdalene Patronal Festival

Saturday 22nd July 10am - 4pm Open Day at St.Mary Magdalene with teas and Coffee and general clear up.

Sunday 23rd July - 8am Mass

10am Patronal Festival with guest peacher Sr. Judith Blackburn from the Haggeston Priory.

6pm  BCP Evening Prayer with hymns led by John King.

After the 10am Service at SMM there will be a short DCC to discuss the quote for accessing the Church roof.

Doreen Lloyd-White was admitted to hospital last week but is now back home. Please keep her, Caroline and the family in your prayers.

St Mary’s and St Bart’s Rotas Copies are available from the back of Church.

Parish Bible Study will be held TODAY at St Bart's at 4pm.  We will study Matthew 11, 16-19 and 25-30. All are welcome to attend. Please bring your bible.


Next PCC meeting will be Wednesday 13 September 2017 at St Mary’s at 7.30 pm.

St Bart’s DCC meeting is 9th July at 11.45 am in the Luke Room.

St Mary’s DCC meeting is 6 September at 7.30 am in the Parish room

St Edmunds’s DCC is to be confirmed.

Service times in August see insert. However, this is a work in progress we will keep you informed of any changes but ask that you bear with us during this period as there may be more changes to come.

Picturing the Parish The study day in September will look at St Matthew’s gospel through the lens of urban settings. We have been asked to take a series of photographs that express what it’s like to live in East Ham. If you’d like to get your camera out and have a go, that would be great, we can probably manage to print your photos in the office.
