 PARISH BIRTHDAYS     HAPPY BIRTHDAY to anyone celebrating their birthday this week

Next Sunday, 18th June we are celebrating Laurine & Ancil’s 50th Wedding anniversary, there will be a celebration in the hall after the service, all welcome.

Cafe Unfortunately, the cafe will be closed this Monday 12 June for one day only.

Book Club Monday 12th June 2 pm to 3 pm – Three Men in a Boat – The journey ends. All welcome.

Corpus Christi Thursday 15th June, mass at 7.30 pm in the Rectory garden (weather permitting) followed by a party ! Eucharist will include anointing of our Eucharistic ministers. All welcome. There is a wet weather plan B ! There will be no 12.30 Eucharist at St Bart’s that day.

Parish Outing This is booked for Saturday 17 June to Bury St Edmunds. Pickup points/times are St Mary’s at 8.30 am/St Bart’s at 8.45 am and St Edmunds at 9.00 am. Cost is £20 per adult, £5 children. THERE ARE STILL PLACES LEFT – PLEASE BOOK THROUGH THE OFFICE.

St Barts 25th June The service will be café church style and will include Conversations That Matter i.e. some time together to reflect on the mission of this church. This will happen quarterly over the next 12 – 18 months

St Bart’s DCC Meeting There will be a brief DCC meeting on 25th June after the café church style service.

Greatfield Summer Market returns, with a huge array of stalls selling handmade gifts, cards, plants, jams, chutneys & pickles and much more. You can have a cup of tea and (homemade) cake or lunch, and chat with your neighbours in our friendly cafe. The Market will be held on Saturday 1st July 2017 at St George and St Ethelbert's Church, Burford Road E6 3NQ between 11 am and 2 pm.


Next PCC meeting will be Wenesday 13 September 2017 at St Mary’s at 7.30 pm.

St Bart’s DCC meeting brief meeting on 25 June and main DCC on 9th July at 11.45 am in the Luke Room.

St Mary’s DCC meeting is 6 September at 7.30 am in the Parish room

St Edmunds’s DCC is 28th June at 7.30 pm.

Quiz night on 29th June at 7.30 pm. Tickets are £7.50 and includes a two-course supper. Please book in the café or Parish Office.

Picturing the Parish The study day in September will look at St Matthew’s gospel through the lens of urban settings. We have been asked to take a series of photographs that express what it’s like to live in East Ham. If you’d like to get your camera out and have a go, that would be great, we can probably manage to print your photos in the office.
