In the world: The people of Barcelona. particularly those killed and injured in the terrorist attack on Thursday.

With Christian: Pray for Greenbelt festival (25-28 August). Pray that the team of staff and volunteers will inspire festival-goers creatively and meaningfully.

In the Parish: those who live along: Sussex Road, St Alban’s Avenue, St Bartholomew’s Road.

The sick and suffering: Alice Singh, Les Rowe, Clarice, Paula Gray, Paul Gray, Alec Creggan, Eileen Exley, Fiona McGuiness,  Mary Skerritt, Jan Hibbard, Clarence Lawrence, Coraline Edwards, Lyn Wingate, Daniel Sims, Peggy Sims, Mark Dorrington, Norman Lipman, Jim Harmati, Theresa Lutterodt and Julie Alade.

Please keep Paul Gray in your prayers at this time as he is particularly unwell with cancer.

PARISH QUIET DAY HAS MOVED TO 23RD SEPTEMBER FROM 30TH SEPTEMBER.

Many thanks to the three groups who have been working to help clear up the churchyard at St Mary’s.

Parish Bible Study will be at St Bart's at 4pm TODAY.  We will study Matthew 16 v 13-20.  All are welcome to attend. Please bring your bible.

St Bart’s Informal Prayer Group

Autumn Notes

An evening of solos, quartets, poems and more ! 14th October from 3.15pm to 5.30pm at St Bart’s.  Adults £5, Children £2, under 12 free.  All proceeds towards Christian Aid.  Tickets from Alison (St Mary’s), Philip (St Bart’s) or Ed (St Edmunds).

St Edmunds’s DCC is on 27th September at 7.30 pm.
